I've set up a private testing conversation for this community.

So we've now got a dedicated place where our partners and potential partners can have a play with the functionality and create content in a way that won't get widely publicised on the izwe platform.

If you'd like to have access to this conversation, let me know - leave a message on my profile or send me an email.

For those with a community site on izwe, I'd recommend setting up (or getting us to set up for you) your own dedicated testing conversation.  Tick the 'private' box when setting up the conversation, and make it's purpose clear in the description box.  To give people access to view and edit it, you need to do two things:

Firstly, invite them to join the conversation - from your main dashboard, click on the 'more' button on the 'conversation' section, then click the 'invite people' link.

Secondly, give them permission to view and edit and create content in that conversation, by clicking the 'manage permissions' link under the conversation name, and 'promoting' users by name or email address.

A useful tip for creating conversations

If you're setting up a conversation, you can follow those steps to set it up in private first.

Set the start date as the day you create it, and make sure you click the 'private' box.

Then when the content is created, those who have been invited can interact and edit content.

When it is all ready, simply untick the 'private' tab to let the crowds in.
